once you get your head around how the controls work its a fantastic piece of kit, but really odd when you first get your hands on one seeing as they can be picked up for around £6-700 i have to say i'm a huge fan. Comes with power lead and user manual, but not in original box, though will be packaged. fantastic sound quality, doesnt suffer from what i'd call crispy digital sound, it sounds so natural and dare i say it "analogue'ish" currently my processor of choice based on sound quality alone. Owned by myself from new, and kept as a back up to a dbx driverack 260.

does what it says on the tin, clean, really really easy to set up, you can see why these are industry standard kit, peerless reliability and overall a tough one to beat.īss omnidrive 366t, strange bit of kit, has a display that feels like it was made in the dark ages, cryptic operating system, it took me ages to actually work out how to get it to do what i wanted. no use in a live scanario as having the whole system go down in the middle of a gig is pretty bad. relying on being more rider friendly than the berry but otherwise not very nice both in usability and sound.ĭigidrive, had one of the early (xilica?) ones, felt a bit cheap, but did the job until started randomly crashing. good spec (aes/ebu at this price point.crazy) sounds a bit clean crispy and digital to my ears.ĭriverack. Given the price difference, you could start with a Behringer and sell it if you don't like it, for much less than a hit on a DR 260. It's another one of those love it or hate it deals with seemingly little middle ground. Having used berrys, driveracks, digidrives, xta's and omnidrives, i see it as.īerry, unbeatable for the money. Only the name/reliability is a concern, and some general slam about Behringer copying designs.
